Love LG products. Gave it a 4 star because the lint filter already has a hole in it. My last one before this same place a hole in filter. This new one also makes some weird noises on occasion where my last lg dryer did not. I also called and ordered a new lent filter and LG is sending me a new one at no charge. However it has been a while and I still have not received it.

I bought this drier one month ago and have not been happy with the installation or the performance of the appliance. The duct was improperly installed and needed to be reinstalled. The drier shuts off before clothes are fully dry. The lint trap the drum and inside of door must be cleaned every load and often floats out when the door is opened. I would not recommend this appliance

Dries clothes even large loads thoroughly and timely. Ability to download custom cycles on LG app is awesome but with so many pre-programmed settings we have never needed to set it up. But honestly favorite part has to be the app itself and alert function you can set that will notify you of dryer status. And since I have a smart watch synced with phone I can be anywhere and receive alert. No more running back and forth to check dryer. Only thing is I get alerts even when Im not home which totally ruins my husbands surprise of having the laundry done :

Terrible Customer Service

The dryer was defective out of the box. I went through numerous chats and phone calls and I lost count of how many home visits from various appliance repair people before finally getting a refund. It took over 6 months and so much wasted time. The refund/exchange policy should be just as easy as the purchasing policy is Also you have to go through so many prompts on the phone you finally give up and just ask anyone to help put you through to the right person. Far more difficult than it should be

I bought this dryer a few months ago and it has lived up to well beyond my initial expectations. I had an issue where the dryer kept turning off before the clothes were dry but I found that it was actually a safety feature where it detects the moisture of the items in the dryer to prevent any malfunction or worse fire/heat damage. I love that it allows you to bypass that feature with its manual functions allowing you to get the best results. Thanks LG

Not happy. I had the dryer professionally installed by LG representatives. Right away the dryer was not drying. It would take 3 cycles to get the clothes to the point were I could air dry them... I contacted customer service online and they said they couldnt help me unless I was next to the dryer running complicated tests. They said it was a waste of a technicians time to come out to try to fix a problem that I could fix myself.... So I had to take a day off work to run these tests with the online representative asking me to type in the answers. Then it turns out that it was installed incorrectly... they said they couldnt help me that I had to call a 1-800 number to get someone... Clearly they dont care about wasting the CUSTOMERS time.

Dont buy this dryer

Dont buy I bought this item on Sep 30th 2023 and today is Oct 25 2023. In less than one week before I use it for anything the dryer cannot be turned on. i called Home Depot where I bought this dryer and they said I need to call LG and they dont accept big appliances return after one week. I contacted LG support team and the technician came one week later. Fixed it by replacing the main board. After one week the dryer cannot be turn on again. As a big family I have the dirty cloth is pilled like a mountain. And LG support team just cannot replace my newly bought dryer for a new one since it already caused so much inconvenience in less a month time. I dont know how many time I have to go through this in the future. It is just pure annoyance that no costumers want to experience.

Doesnt dry clothes. Ive had it a month and half now. Even on high temp 70 minute cycles .... you still have to run it twice I feel like a fool because I bought this dryer for the energy star rating due to high electric bills. With a normal load running for 70 minutes and having to run it twice on high temp 140 min to actually have dry clothes... well Im using a lot of electricity. Not to mention that its horrible because sometimes you just need to have dry clothes in an hour. I thought it was the plug wired wrongly so I had servicer come out and install new electrical plug in it. No no better at drying. My kids are in college now but i would tell any mom to NOT buy LG dryer Seriously... you just need your kids clothes dry and dont have time to do each load twice.

Got it on Memorial Day pre-sale and its a great value. The washer dryer stack unit with free delivery and haul away made this a no-brainer appliance purchase. The tubs are huge -big comforter no problem with room for the sheets too. I cant imagine a load that wont fit and it dries beautifully.
